AND..why did the hair around his mouth (his moustache) turn brown??
I have a black dog (he is 9 months) will he turn white when he gets old?
Don't know about the hair on his mustache turning brown -- you didn't mention what breed so it could be a normal coloration for the breed.
As far as turning white, some dogs will go gray as they get older and some won't. Just like people, some dogs become gray early and some never at all. If you know anything about his parents you might have a good guess, but otherwise you'll just have to wait and see!

No, he won't turn brown. His mouth coloring is probably just part of the genetics from his parents.

No, he won't turn white. The hair around his muzzle is just a different colour. It will start showing grey and white hair when he gets old.

Mostly around his muzzle and eyes and of course, a little all over his body but he probably won't turn completely white. About his moustache, if he's a mutt, there's no telling.

Nope, in genetics lighter hair gets darker in adulthood, then lighter to a grey/white color when they're old.

Sorry, the only color change will be gray in parts of his face, ears, neck and maybe some on his back...His moustache is brown because of eating his food and around the mouth is where it gets strained and stays that color...
