Trying to identify dog breed. Humane society says Corgi/terrier cross.?

This little guy defenitly has Corgi, probably Pembroke, but cant figure out what kind of terrier. He is a brown and black brindle, and the hair is coarse, wirey, and long. At least there are some long and some short hairs.

Chances are it has Carin Terrier in it.

Carin's have coarse, wiry hair with multiple lengths.

Hard to tell without a photo- all terriers have coarse wirey hair.

Picture please? There are always details in the face and body you wouldn't be able to describe that would help us much more.

I think our answers are just a shot in the dark without a picture. I would agree with the person that said Cairn terrier and add another possibility Affenpinscher.

But he could be a mixture of several breeds, it's hard to say. However, I'm not sure it really matters--decide what you think he is and go with that :)
