If you want a small, snugly dog that won't shed too much look into getting a shih tzu from an animal shelter, rescue society or a breeder registered with the American Kennel Club or similar organization. Please do not buy your dog from a pet store. It funds the extremely cruel puppy mill trade and the dogs it produces tend to have chronic health and behavior problems.
