How do I identify certain substances?

I am in a competition where I need to be able to identify the following compunds/polymers/fibers with Iodine, HCl, water, a mircoscope, density, a flame, pH, and conductivity. Could someone please tell me how to identify some or all of them?

How do I identify certain substances?

assuming you have basic chemistry knowledge already, study your solubility rules and reactivity series. also, you could probably find the chemical makeup of everything on the second list if you do your research. good luck!
