Schnorkie? What kind of dog is this?

I adopted this pretty girl (will be prettier after a visit to the groomer!) a few days ago, but I'm not sure what she is. I think she's a Schnorkie (Schnauzer %26amp; Yorkie mix), but it looks like most Schnorkies have longer hair. If you have any ideas, please share!

Definately a Schnauzer mix. There could be some Yorkie too...

There is such as thing as a Schnorkie... it a designer dog... a Hybrid. :) Just like my Sheagle (Sheltie/Beagle)

Looks like schnauzer and yorkie, she just has a schnauzer coat, not a longer silky one like a yorkie. she's a cutie!

She does look like a Schnorkie. Some yorkies dont always have long hair. I've had a AKC yorkie and he was never sent to the groomer due to his short coat. That sounds wierd but one of his parents had a short coat and the other had a long coat. Also schnauzers dont normally have very long coats so it can be she inhertied more schnauzer. Its very possible she is mixed with something else because you dont know who the exact parents are so who knows her great great great great grandpa mightve been a lab for all we know!

Yeah, she definitly looks like a Schnauzer and Yorkie mix! My mom has two mini schnauzers and her neighbor has a little yorkie.. your little girl looks like a mix of the two for sure. lol!.. Very cute dog! : )

She looks like she has inherited the Schnauzer genes. Her body structure is of the Schnauzer, but her markings are of the Yorkie. Depending on how old she is, she might still only have her puppy coat. When she matures her coat may get longer.

Schnauzer %26amp; Yorkie mix would be my best guess, that dog is definately a Schnauzer mix though! With any mixed breed dog you can never be sure what kind of traits of each breed it will pick up, especially with coats, its hard to judge when they are puppies.... it does appear your dog has more of a yorkie coat, so it may get longer as she gets older.

I have a snorkie. 9 months old and looks almost identical, but her hair has less gray. But, it's that short. She's a blast..Love her to death

Looks like a cute little mutt. :-) There's no such thing as a Schnorkie. Please don't feed the hype.

Edit: Oh for God's sake, people. I have three mixed breed dogs myself. I don't go around calling them an Ausky (Aussie/husky mix), a Huskweiler (Rottie/husky mix), or a Malinerd (Malinois/GSD mix). You people and your cutesy names need to get over yourself. There is nothing wrong with calling it a mutt if that's what it is. I'm an American mutt and proud of it. The more people enable these names, the more they encourage this intentional mixed breeding which serves no purpose at all except to overburden the already overly large homeless pet population.
