How do you treat a dog that was attacked by fireants.?

her skin has started to scab up and she has this awful odor. her hair is also falling out

if the dog was bitten numerous times, then you should take her to the vet. She could have an infection. She also may be stressing the pain and that can lead to other problems. In the meantime, you could soak her in a cool bath and if it's possible add some colloidal oatmeal to soothe her. If she's already as irritated as it seems, she needs the vet so he can give her an allergy shot probably something similiar to Benadryl. I'd do it sooner than later because it could lead to more serious problems. Take her in. Fireants bites are the worst. Poor puppy. I wish u the best.
