There is ONLY ONE BREED OF DOG WITH HAIR ... the poodle. I'd say you should get a 'miniature' and not a 'toy' poodle, and you don't have to get it the 'fancy cut' ... just give it the 'plain poodle cut' and have fun with your new friend. Poodles LOVE to play and have fun.

Go to your local shelter they have plenty, plenty of small and medium dogs that need someone that will love and play with them.

a non-shedding dog. I always love this request from potential adopters.....lol. There is no such thing...unless they are hairless. Animals must loose thie fur....just as humans shed skin and hair. Some hair is more noticable than others and some may seem to come out more than others....depending on if you brush them or not.

I always recommend medium sized dogs for people who want fun dogs, but a dog that's not too big (personally I think big dogs are the best!). Because small dogs (some can be fun) but most can't really play...or have "lots of fun."

I recommend muts. In any situation a mut is always best. Maybe a beagle mix...Or if you happen to run across a full breed at your local animal shelter that's great too.

Visit your local shelter and speak with the employees....a lot of times they know what they are talking about and can match you up with the perfect dog!
