My favorite dog is the American Pit Bull Terrier, not mixed with anything. But I think a rott pit mix would be very cute!

German shepard/lab mixes are really cute and decent size. They are also very smart and atheltic. + very easy to train.

I would recommend that kind of dog to anybody. I trained my german shepard/lab mix in only two days to sit, stay, come, and leave it.

Also, a Boxer/Bulldog. I love English Bulldogs, but they are plagued with health problems and have a very short lifespan. Mixing them with one of the most friendly and playful dog breeds on the planet makes for a loving and healthier companion.

Alaskan Huskies! I have 2 right now...one is a husky/shepherd mix and the other is a husky/who knows what. I had 2 before these and all of them have been awesome...good with kids, lovable, intelligent, active. Can't trust them with cats, but then they weren't raised with them, either.

I've had a chow/shep mix. Most beautiful deep red dog possible - and an equally awesome personality!

I've also had a Husky/shep mix. She was short haired, and had the blue eyes, and markings of a husky - WOW!

Right now, I've got a beagle/terrier/dauchund mix. Odd mix, with spots, brown/black saddle, and half-blue eyes and looooong legs. (Kinda resembles a jack russel, but NOT!) No one can even guess what she is, but everyone agrees - she is totally unique and beautiful! At only 6 months old, she's also extremely smart!!!

I'd have to inject, any mix with Shepard usually turns out to not only be smart, but also can be very protective. That makes for a perfect start to a mix-breed!

o and in my state you cant have pit bull and rott mix they say its a dangerous weapon.....stupid i think. i live in a stupid state. my mom had a chow and pit mix and they took her dog from her just because it had pit in it. but she got it back and moved to the country with her dog...

When I was growing up we had a dog that was a Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix. We named her D.O.G. and she was one of the best dogs ever. She was so pretty too. She had these awesome yellow eyes and everyone always complimented her on her brown coat because it was extremely shiny. I think she grew to be 80 lbs or so. She was such a fun dog. I miss her.

Mine, I have two:

Sheltie/Jack Russell (very loyal, smart and protective)

Spaniel/Aussie/Sheltie/Something/Somet... (smart, sweet and cuddly)

The second one has a whole bunch of freckles on her nose and a fluffy tail. The first one loves to give hugs and kisses (all you have to do is ask)!

Black lab/blue tick mixes! I have 2 of them! They're very smart like their parents and they're beautiful dogs. They look like black labs, only with a teeny bit of white on their chests and hound faces and ears. They also are perfect guard dogs-a person can't even walk by without being barked at out the window! Gotta love 'em! :)
