She may have allergies. both of my dogs do, and do the same thing. I give them normal people benadryl(the capsules they come in a bottle of 100 at walmart for about 5.00). They say 1 25mg pill for every 20 pounds. So, my guess is you would give 1 benedryl once in the morning and once at night. This should relieve some of the problems! Best of luck!

My dog has just started doing this also Just today I gave him a bath using an natural oatmeal shampoo it seems to be doing a pretty good job as of now

maybe you should give it a try or maybe some benadryl the pink box for allergies not any other kind but please ask you vet first and for dosage amount if he says it is ok to do so

Also I changed his food to purina Pro PLan sensitve skin and Stomach

Now it's only been a day since I have changed his foodbut if I am not crazy the scrathching has cut down some it will take about a week or so to see the full effect but I am looking forward to the results

What are you feeding her? She may have allergies to what she's eating, check to see if you giving her food has wheat or corn. You may want to check that out next. Hope it all works out for you both. Take care...

She probably does have allergies, in which case benadryl will work..I give that to my pug when she needs it, but try not to since it knocks her out. But..you may also be doing too much to her skin..if it's already irritated, you shouldn't be trying out so many different things, it will only irritate her skin more. You should check with your vet..she may need extra help other than just benadryl..and i would stop trying to find a cure on my own (despite your good intentions it may be making things worse). Good Luck!

sounds like she has a bad skin allergy and you need to change her to a holistic brand food and the reason I say this is because I have a chi that had bad skin allergy and he got put on holistic food and is doing fine now ,no missing hair nothing . good luck .
